What is the CPR/AED course?
The CPR/AED course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to cardiac emergencies. This comprehensive course covers the essential techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, and how to use an AED to deliver a shock to the heart in the event of an arrhythmia.
The course is taught by experienced instructors who are certified by the American Heart Association. Participants in this course will have the opportunity to practice their skills on manikins and receive feedback and guidance from the instructor. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certification card that is valid for a set period of time, typically two years.
